The Short Answer for The Island Residence
Keppel Island is a small natural island in the middle of Keppel Bay, about 5.0 hectares, joined to the mainland by a 245-metre cable-stayed bridge. Life at The Island Residence will combine water on every side with a District 4 address a short trip from HarbourFront, VivoCity and Sentosa.
The island already holds Marina at Keppel Bay, the bay’s yacht harbour, so boats, the bridge and the green shoreline of the mainland are part of the everyday outlook.
The Island Setting of The Island Residence
Keppel’s published fact sheets describe the island as a privately owned natural island, and the bridge as a cable-stayed span linking it to the mainland. The site pin sits about 140 metres west of Marina at Keppel Bay, towards the open water facing the Labrador shore.
Around the bay sit the established waterfront homes of Keppel Bay, including the glass towers of Reflections at Keppel Bay on the hillside above Bukit Chermin. The Keppel Bay and marina guide tells their story.
Walks and Parks Around The Island Residence
Bukit Chermin Boardwalk runs along the water about 370 metres from the site pin, below the wooded hillside. Further west, the Labrador Nature Reserve and the Berlayer Creek mangrove boardwalk are about a kilometre away, and above the bay the Southern Ridges climb from Mount Faber over Henderson Waves to Telok Blangah Hill and Kent Ridge.
Few city addresses have this much green and water within walking and cycling reach, and it is the part of the setting that does not depend on any release.
Shops, Food and Sentosa Near The Island Residence
East of the bridge, VivoCity is about 1.2 km away in a straight line, with the Sentosa Express station on its upper level, and HarbourFront Centre holds the Singapore Cruise Centre. Seah Im Food Centre, a neighbourhood hawker centre, is about 940 metres away.
Across the water to the south, Sentosa brings beaches, Resorts World Sentosa and golf within a short trip. The VivoCity and Sentosa guide describes the HarbourFront side in detail.
Planning a Move to The Island Residence
The developer will release the official name, the unit mix, the floor plans, the facilities and the price list at launch, and the homes themselves are where the island setting becomes specific: which way each stack faces, and how high it sits.
Joining the preview list brings each document on release, and the site plan and elevation chart pages will show the layout and the views as soon as they are published.
A Day on Keppel Island at The Island Residence
Mornings on an island in Keppel Bay could start on the water’s edge: a run across the bridge and along Bukit Chermin Boardwalk, or a walk up to Mount Faber as the city wakes. From the mainland end of the bridge, HarbourFront station and its two MRT lines are a short trip east.
Evenings bring the other side of the setting: a meal at VivoCity or a hawker centre, a trip across to Sentosa, or simply the lights of the marina and the bay. Weekends add the Labrador Nature Reserve, the Southern Ridges and the beaches of Sentosa, all within a short distance.
The homes themselves will be described in the developer’s brochure on release, and the e-brochure page takes a request in under a minute.
Island living also brings practical questions that the developer’s documents will answer: the arrival and drop-off on the island, the car park, the facilities and the services shared with the marina. Each of these will be shown on the site plan page and in the brochure, and the Sales Concierge can go through them at a preview appointment. Until then, the bridge, the marina and the boardwalks can be seen in person, and a visit to the bay at different times of day gives a sense of the setting that no plan can.
